how to use slave_connection in openstack?

In keystone.conf under [database] section i have added

slave_connection=mysql+pymysql://keystone:KEYSTONE_DBPASS@controller/keystone

but it was not working. anyone, please help me to understand how to use slave_connection in openstack?

can u try with localhost. slave_connection=mysql+pymysql://keystone:KEYSTONE_DBPASS@@localhost/keystone or instead of @controller try with IP @10.X.X.X

below mentioned connection string(slave_connection=mysql+pymysql://keystone:KEYSTONE_DBPASS@controller/keystone) is sample only, i already tried with ip also, but didn't worked
