Custom Router Image as the Neutron router

Hi all

I'm trying to use Cisco CSR1000v as the self-service router in place of the built-in Neutron router. My question, is there any way to see the CSR1000v in the Router section of Horizon or the openstack router list?

Horizon or the router list command only list virtual routers that you created. How to create csr1000v-based router, I don't know, but the internet has a lot of documentation on that subject.

With "vanila" Neutron not - it only supports L3 agent with routers created in namespaces. You probably need to look for some custom Cisco l3 service plugin for that. I don't know if there is anything available.

Neutron does support alternative routers. When you search for openstack csr1000v, you find quite a few documents including Cisco documentation.
