Persistent volume in TOSCA Template

I want to keep a backup of the data that my VNF creates. For this, I wanted to create a persistent volume such that if a VNF gets deleted and a new one gets launched, it can access the data created by the previous VNF. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Nehal,

You can use a cinder volume attached to the vnf vm and preserve the cinder volume on termination of vnf (Ensure the r/w activity carried by vnf to cinder is stopped before termination to ensure no cinder volume corruption ), As per the tacker project this is already a blueprint/spec for this as well, you can check it - https://specs.openstack.org/openstack...

I want to attach a pre-existing volume to the instance using it's volume id. Is there a way to do that?
