Why each time I create a heat stack a new project is created?

What happens if I delete that project?

What happens to the stack and its resources?

Which project is created? I am not aware of Heat creating projects, except if the template includes project creation.

I tried to upload an image to show the projects that are being created, but 10 points are required, everytime you creat a stack using a Heat Openstack Template, a new project is created, and its description is "Heat stack user project" and you will see them listed under projects.

See https://ask.openstack.org/en/question.... One never stops learning.

If you have no WaitConditions or SoftwareDeployments, it may be OK to delete the project, but I don't see a need for it.

Thank you for the reply, I have bunch of them and even though they're empty, each project has a quota, so I want to know if they are "using / reserving" resources out of my resources pool

Resources are owned by projects. Therefore, by definition, foreign projects can't consume your resources and use up your quota. You are fine.

I need to ask this again in a better way just to be sure, I'm an IT service provider, so I use mutitenancy, I have a pool of resources where Openstack lives and from where each tenant gets its resources, each customer has is project (tenant) with its own quota wich reserves a pool of resources

used or not used by the customer within its tenant the quota resources are reserved, when I create a stack a new project is created with its own quota, it gets created on a different domain, that's true, but has a quota as well so I want to know if it reserves resources as wel from my resources pool

leaving me with less available resources to add more customers with new tenants (projects) to my environment everytime I run a stack.
