Hey, is it possible to install calico on ubuntu 18 controllers and set neutron-server to use calico plugin. Could someone share some details about installing the appropriate calico driver?

While Calico's documentation says that Pike and Queens have been used for development and mentions that Ubuntu 16.04 is known to work, you could give it a quick try with the Stein version of Devstack.

Hey, I tried to install networking-calico on latest openstack and it fails neutron-server service. Openstack Stein and Train moved to Python3 and seems as Neil Jerran said there is an issue with Calico driver Python3 packaging.

Looks like Calico developers is not hurrying-up to fix the issues of calico driver already since Stein released. Could you advise if there is some alternative to Calico driver for neutron?

Best, Vasili

Personally, I know practically nothing about Calico. You may want to create a new question here or ask the Calico community directly.
