VDI on OpenStack

I have just deployed a fresh OpenStack Stein RDO all-in-one on CentOS 7 to play around with the new features. Last time I evaluated OpenStack was over two years ago. In particular I was interested in accessing Instances via SPICE. Today I have finally managed to activate spice. However the console display of a windows 2012 r2 (with vdi-guest-tools) is totally screwed up. I tried Firefox and Chrome. The console output is flipped upside down. I have not tried a linux VM with a GUI yet. Overall I would be interested in a VDI solution for OpenStack. Preferably Opensource. I have found the following and it looks promising but there is no documentation how to install it:

Any help or info would be much appreciated.

Might want to have a look at x2go (software rendering only). If you want hardware rendering turbovnc, i did not have much success with it but worth a look. Pay for nicedcv, and it does really nice job and easy to install.
