Neutron configuration in Network Node

Hello, I am following this tutorial to install neutron ( However, the documentation does not mention how to configure [agent] section in neutron.conf They just provided a link that links to OpenStack homepage, I don't know how to get the configuration of [agent] section. Please help me this.

I agree the links could be improved. Both Neutron installation and configuration guides are found at

My recommendation: Base your configuration on the installation guide, and use the config guide as reference and for special requirements not covered there.

The installation guide doesn't seem to say anything about the [agent] section in neutron.conf, which means you can leave it untouched. If you are not happy with the defaults, see

You can use a all-in-one method like devstack or packstack to quickly set up a cloud and study the config files.

I got this error when I was trying to restart the neutron-server service. Something is wrong with the AGENT.
