Hi, I have installed devstack openstack Ocata All in one in Ubuntu 16.04 with a static ip(192.168.100.21) of the host machine. Now I want to move it to different subnet(10.54.14.0). How do I change the Ip address of it and make it work on a new IP without reinstalling. Tried few methods but did not work.

  • create/configure necessary underlay network.
  • replace all old IPs in the openstack configuration file under /etc/ with new IP.
  • Restart all the OpenStack service.

P.S: The recommended practice is to rerun devstack with a new IP range.

Thanks for your reply but this did not worked. Had tried the same. Replaces the ip in all the /etc files. Replaced the keystone endpoints with the new ip in the database. Restarted all the services. This no longer works ...
