I am looking for a solution to integrate openstack (subnets, floating Ip's) to DNS, I tried with designate created a zone in project and able to get vm name as A record the moment vm is created. seems like designate works with separate zone in each project but what we are looking for is to have a same zone for all projects. Is there a solution to achieve this? I currently have a local bind within my controller and using forwarders to look in to our dns servers. if not with Designate what are the other alternatives to achieve this? I am using openstack pike, and having a three node controller cluster running designate. your inputs and advise is much needed and appreciated. Thanks in advance.
