Hi All,

I have an Openstack setup with Ceph backend, when I write any data in Ceph disks from openstack nodes. The bandwidth is very low. How to improvise this ? if any one aware of it, Please help.

Infra,

All nodes having 10 G NICs and 1 TB SSDs

Need more information.

Define low.

How are you checking it? What are you comparing it to? Are you testing VMs booted off of RBD cinder-volumes? VMs booted off of a shared cephfs share? VMs that are directly attaching to RBDs instead of as cinder-volumesAre you passing any special flags to openstack when you create the volumes to influence how they are created?

For what it's worth, on a tiny (4 node 20 osd) cluster of all SSDs I see a >7x difference in dbench output when I run with 1 client vs 128. All these details matter :)
