Stein: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0): OSCPLACEMENT

asked 2019-05-14 00:18:08 -0500

According to the guide:- (

when i run the command openstack --os-placement-api-version 1.2 resource class list --sort-column name

I'm getting following output: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)

But expected output according to the guide is:

name
DISK_GB
IPV4_ADDRESS
...

Please help me out. Will this output be problem in future. What might be the reason to get that output?

I have found solution, in /etc/httpd/conf.d/00-placement-api.conf:

<Directory /usr/bin>
   <IfVersion >= 2.4>
      Require all granted
   <IfVersion < 2.4>
      Order allow,deny
      Allow from all

was missing. The stein documentation for placement service has missed to inform about adding above lines.

The problem is solved.

Stein release- placement service for me I found "/etc/apache2/sites-enables/placement-api.conf" has the config and I am getting "--os-placement-api-version 1.2 resource class list --sort-column name is not an OpenStack command" I don't know how to resolve this issue.
