Problem with Swift endpoints

asked 2019-03-18 23:38:24 -0500

Hi Techies,

I have installed keystone and swift(Queens Version).it's working fine. but when I try to add OpenSSL certificates for swift service endpoints I am facing account HEAD failed and internal server error(500).

I configured OpenSSL by adding certificate in /etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl.conf, for keystone i configured OpenSSL by adding certificate in /etc/apache2/sites-available/keystone.conf

For swift, I configured OpenSSL by adding certificates in /etc/swift/proxy-server.conf

In this Conf file's [Default] section there is an option available for configured for SSL(cert and key file adding option). I used this option for SSL configuring.

But I am getting 500 internal server error

Hi Techies,

I have fixed this issue by configured below mentioned,

Updating /etc/swift/proxy-server.conf

[Default]
cert_file = /etc/swift/proxy.crt(ssl certificate path)
key_file = /etc/swift/proxy.key(ssl certificate key path)

[filter:authtoken]
www_authenticate_uri = https://keystonehost:5000
auth_url = https://keystonehost:5000
auth_protocol = https
insecure = true
