Hi Team,

We are having one openstack environment which is running fine. Currently openstack is running with 20TB storage and now company wants to increase storage upto 80TB.

We have discussed internally and decide to go with this approach:

                       *  1 SAN Switch
                       *  18 Disks HDDs
                       *    6 Disks SSDs

So my concerns are, will be able to connect SAN Switch to Openstack machines directly ? How we can mapped HDDs/SSDs as storage part in openstack ? How the architecture will work together like Openstack, Physical Machines, SAN Switch, and Storage ?

I am waiting for your response. Really appreciate for your help.

There are Cinder drivers for most storage solutions. How the storage solution works with Cinder and Nova depends on the particular driver.
