misleading documentation for IBM SVC/Storwize Thin Provisioning [closed]
Dear community,
on https://docs.openstack.org/cinder/latest/reference/support-matrix.html#operation_volume_migration_storage_assisted_driver_ibm_storwize (link text) in the summary section is shown for IBM Storwize SVC Storage Driver (iSCSI, FC) a "x" under Thin Provisioning optional.
If you have a look at https://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-reference/block-storage/drivers/ibm-storwize-svc-driver.html (link text) under https://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-reference/block-storage/drivers/ibm-storwize-svc-driver.html#id10 (link text) is shown that "...The driver creates thin-provisioned volumes by default..."
Question: Does Openstack Cinder supports Thin Provisioning with IBM SVC (SAN Volume Controller) / IBM Storwize or not?
Many thanks.
Best regards Johannes
A remark: Your first link is about the current software release, whereas the second is about Mitaka, three years prior to Rocky.
