Hello,

I want to integrate OpenStack (DevStack Pike) and ODL Berylium. And I am trying to follow-up the dozen tutorials that are one the internet. One is this: https://opensourceforu.com/2017/04/in...

The problem is that when you configure the elements for neutron, it says to shutdown neutron and I cannot do that. Moreover, if I make the modifications and then a reboot for the modifications to be active, the neutron will not start or even worse it does not work correctly, meaning that I am trying to login in OpenStack and if I want to access Network section, it won't show anything, because Neutron service is not working.

Please, I have tried all the tutorials on the internet and tried almost 10 times, can you tell me how to do this correctly and advance with my studies.

Thank you, Silviu

I know nothing about ODL, but if you can't restart Neutron, something is wrong with your configuration. How do you restart it (e.g. systemctl restart neutron-xyz), and what messages do you get when it doesn't come up? Also check the Neutron logs, in particular the one from neutron-server.
