Can't boot the instance "libvirtError: internal error: no supported architecture for os type 'hvm'\n" [closed]

Please find the log snippet from nova-scheduler.log file below:

Have already checked the nova.conf on the compute node the libvirt_type=qemu is set. Also verified that the nodes have enough RAM available.

On the controller node the scheduler_default_filters is set to AllHostsFilter.

Installing nova-compute-qemu package on the compute node resolved the issue.
