I have Havana+RBD installed and I'm having this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/...

Solution is quite simple actually - I just need to edit one line of code. I did it, deleted imagebackend.pyc and imagebackend.pyo files, restarted Nova, try to launch VM, but got the same error again (TypeError: libvirt_info() takes exactly 6 arguments (7 given)). What am I doing wrong? I'm not familiar with Python, how I can make it recompile edited code or apply the change?

The OPST team have published a patch to this bug.

https://launchpad.net/nova/+milestone/2013.2.3 (https://launchpad.net/nova/+milestone...)

As soon as this hit the RDO repo you should be fine. I have a ticket open with RH to find out when this will hit upstream.

The bug is here if you want to read it.

I think the patch has already been merged upstream https://review.openstack.org/#/c/72575/

Could you please explain what exactly does it mean? Can I just make "yum update nova" and it will be fixed? Bug status for Havana is still in progress.

Probably I was not clear enough. I'm not a programmer, I don't commit code to OpenStack, I just need to fix a bug on my deployed OpenStack. So I edited one line of code, but that didn't work.
