[Now: BUILD] openstack server show provider-instance: status ERROR

$ . demo-openrc
$ openstack server create ... (success status BUILD)
$ openstack server list
issubclass() arg 1 must be a class :-(
$ openstack console url show provider-instance
Instance d9b1ff38-4caf-4fe4-85d4-40ccb106a6ce is not ready (HTTP 409) (Request-ID: req-ed400fad-30b1-4f32-a505-dc14a05da0dc)
$ openstack server show provider-instance

I am missing something, but what?

How did you install? Looks like the nova database wasn't initialized properly, claiming that the "Host 'localhost' is not mapped to any cell". Try to run this on the controller node: su -s /bin/sh -c "nova-manage cell_v2 discover_hosts --verbose" nova

After openstack server delete provider-instance and recreating it status now BUILD
The PROVIDER_NET_ID i got form table networks in database neutron

The documentation on the webpage mentioned is not clear whether $ . demo-openrc or $ . admin-openrc in
$ openstack server create ...
I haven't tried last option for fear needing to reconfigure everything agaiin
