Required packages are installed and also the OpenStack CLI client and required plugins.

openstack server list gives me the following error :

Failed to discover available identity versions when contacting https://mysite:5000/v3. Attempting to parse version from URL

Please any help?

NB: openstack -h gives me the right ouput.

Yes it is right, curl https://mysite:5000/v3 gives this: curl: (7) Failed connect to mysite:5000; Connection timed out Please any suggestion?

https://mysite:5000/v3 is not the correct authentication URL. In this case, adjust OS_AUTH_URL.

Or your cloud's Keystone is down.

I moved your additional information from an answer back to the question.

Ask a cloud administrator which is the correct OS_AUTH_URL.

If you are a cloud administrator, check whether Keystone is running. Also check if a firewall blocks port 5000.

The problem is definitely with the authentication URL. Check the URL and do a curl to that URL and show us the output. command is curl https://mysite:5000/v3. It should say failed to connect to IP and port. Connection refused if there anything wrong with the URL.
