snapshot of ubuntu-virtual machine

Hi techies,

In my OpenStack environment, there is an Ubuntu virtual machine is running, its disk size in flavor is 30GB, I have taken a snap of this VM and the snapshot size is 16GB, but there is only 3GB of the disk is only used in that VM, is there any option is available to remove the unused white space for reducing snapshot size

method 1 for Compress: qemu-img convert -c -O qcow2 source.qcow2 shrunk.qcow2
