Hello

I have question about cinder. My cinder storage node has maximal hard drive capacity 500 GB. I created using OpenStack dashboard a volume with 900 GB capacity. I can't understand how I can create volumes bigger than 500 GB.

Thanks

My guess is that your Cinder backend uses thin provisioning.

If the backend is LVM, chances are that this is the case. On the storage node, run the lvs command. You should see a thin provisioning pool.
