Setting up Queens AIO everything looks good but when trying to run an instance I get

Host 'masternode.tictoc.local' is not mapped to any cell

Poked around some using the

nova-manage cell_v2 discover_hosts /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/oslo_db/sqlalchemy/enginefacade.py:332: NotSupportedWarning: Configuration option(s) ['use_tpool'] not supported exception.NotSupportedWarning

looked into

nova-manage cell_v2 discover_hosts --verbose /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/oslo_db/sqlalchemy/enginefacade.py:332: NotSupportedWarning: Configuration option(s) ['use_tpool'] not supported exception.NotSupportedWarning Found 2 cell mappings. Skipping cell0 since it does not contain hosts. Getting computes from cell 'default': 1cd96a71-8df9-480e-971b-180ff285c24b Found 0 unmapped computes in cell: 1cd96a71-8df9-480e-971b-180ff285c24b

Any ideas on what I can do next?

Did you enable the feature use_tpool? In Ocata this option is set to false by default:

control:~ # grep use_tpool /etc/nova/nova.conf
/etc/nova/nova.conf:# Deprecated group/name - [DEFAULT]/dbapi_use_tpool
/etc/nova/nova.conf:#use_tpool = false

Does it work if you disable it?
