How to change the maxTotalRAMSize

asked 2018-09-03 09:45:25 -0500

Hi,

I have setup an environment using a virtual box on my laptop. I have also setup a few user in the enviroment. For some reason, i discovered that I am unable to launch any instance due to my RAM size become 5MB. I have tried to use the admin to reset the quota/limits to 20480 and some other value but it doesn't work. Is there an explanation on why did the RAM size became to 5MB and is it possible to change it? Thanks! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zkx6yqQrxuyASRGe9Q69SeH3ecM3rdMV (image description)

It should work with openstack quota set --ram 12345 YOURPROJECT. The API to set quota is https://developer.openstack.org/api-r.... The API log should contain a line when you issue this API (if debug logging is enabled).

Any error message on the command line or in the log?

I just set the RAM quota to 99999999, that's 100TB if I am not wrong. Successfully. Admittedly, I am using Newton.
