Hi, I was reading the rdo documentation which stating 2 ways to deploy openstack via packstack or via ooo. Packstack would be single node and what i see in ooo is openstack over openstack. Is there not any way to deploy normal multinode openstack enviroment without this nesting (ie ooo).in rdo Sorry for asking such silly question.

Thanks in advance

You can use Packstack for multinode installations. For example, see https://www.rdoproject.org/install/ad....

There is no such thing as “nested OpenStack”. Tripleo is a way of deploying OpenStack. Instead of managing the cloud servers with Ansible, Puppet, Kolla, or manually, you manage them with OpenStack and Ironic.

If you don’t like RDO, try Kolla, OpenStack-Ansible or a manual installation.

Can’t you use OOO? Of course you can. But its purpose and implementation is totally different from Packstack. The latter is for proof of concept or learning, TripleO is for enterprise clouds. Red Hat OpenStack uses TripleO, for example.
