Hello, currently I start to work on Networks Virtualization. And I'm trying to integrate Openstack with OSM.

I installed OSM in a VM inside VMWare and also I have 3 VMS for Openstack (2 compute 1 controller), all VMs are in the same cluster.

I saw wiki page of OSM and I use the osm vim-create command. It seems tha it works cause with osm vim-list command I saw the uuid and the name.

When I tried to instantiate vnfs I had an error

Instantiation of NS 3b685a20-21b9-4a9e-8e03-41e02c84d774 - test failed VIM Exception vimconnConnectionException ConnectFailure: Unable to establish connection to http://controller.dai.uom.gr:5000/v3/auth/tokens (http://controller.dai.uom.gr:5000/v3/...) (http://controller.dai.uom.gr:5000/v3/...): HTTPConnectionPool(host='controller.dai.uom.gr', port=5000): Max retries exceeded with url: /v3/auth/tokens (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.httpconnection 0x7f54a53f0b10="" at="" object="">: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 113] No route to host',)). (True, ' Rollback successful.')</urllib3.connection.httpconnection>

That error is caused because OSM can't reach the authentication IP you specified. Are you sure your auth_ip is http://controller.dai.uom.gr:5000/v3/ ?

The auth-ip you use in the vim-create command should be the same one you source as a variable with the RC file of your user. To download the RC flie, do it from horizon, in the upper right hand corner of the window.

If they are not the same, delete the vim and create it again with the correct IP.

If you do have the same IP in the RC file and your vim, try to check the connectivity between the OSM machine and the keystone endpoint, because that is where the problem lies.

Thank you for your answer, the firewall prevents all the traffic so that was the problem. Now I have another error

ERROR Creating ns at RO: b"---\nerror:\n code: 500\n description: 'IOError: Could not find a suitable TLS CA certificate bundle, invalid\n path: true'\n type: 500 Internal Server Erro

Hi, I have two Vm's one with OSM and another with OpenStack and I get the same error when I try to connect those, so were you able to fix this? If yes, how?
