DevStack install fails on pip version

I have Ubuntu 16.0.4 LTS with upgrades running on physical machine.

I get this error in middle of the ./

"You are using pip version 9.0.3, however version 10.0.1 is available. You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command."

When I do 'sudo pip install --upgrade pip' it upgrades to 10.0.1 but next time I run, I get exactly same error.

I've been starting all over several times and cleaned everything, but I get this everytime.

I had older DevStack running for very long time, but wanted to start over and now I got this.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi, have you solved the problem?

I don't know if this problem persists after three months, but it's actually not a problem. The "error" message is just information that a newer version of pip is available, but the older version should work fine.
