Hello there,

Recently I have installed and configured the Openstack CLI on one of the machine outside of the OS platform. OS CLI works fine with "root" user however it fails for "non-root" users with below message.

$ openstack server list
*The plugin password could not be found'*

With debug mode, see below message related to keystone

Deferring keystone exception: The plugin password could not be found

Additional information:

OSclient Version: 3.2.1

OS Release: Newton

Appreciate if you someone can help here.

I was able to resolve this issue. It was actually related to permissions on the python module directories. Some of the modules directory did not had permissions for "Others" to read from the module dirs.
