Hello, I am running Ocata release of Open Stack, Attached is my Juju status showing my ocata components. Can someone suggest me how or what steps should I follow to upgrade this environment to Pike release. I have some Production instance running in this Ocata Environment. C:\fakepath\JujuStatus.JPG

Perhaps this helps: https://cloud.garr.it/support/kb/juju.... It covers Mitaka->Newton but provides info on Ocata->Pike as well.

Disclaimer: I didn't try this; I don't use Juju. I am just better at googling than you :)

Thanks Bernd, Yes you are.. That document is provided is helpful. My setup is HA for the Ocata services should i follow the same sequence as shown in the link. also do we require downtime for the instances hosted while upgrading. May I know the modelling tool you using for Open stack Deployments.

Downtime is required if you have to update qemu or KVM, for example. Also kernel updates, of course. You can, however, live-migrate instances before you upgrade their compute node.

Disclaimer: I only play with OpenStack and don’t manage production systems.
