Deploying Openstack on multiple servers

Hi and good day for all

i want to install openstack on a large number of servers (almost 20 servers), what is the best automated why to do that with providing redundancy.

is it a valid solution to use MAAS with juju ?

what should i read and where can i find the related documents for such design.

I can help you with MAAS and juju installation of openstack, We have few environments of openstack already running deployed via MAAS and Juju.

for MAAS and JUJU if the MAAS or JUJU node become down is that effect all the environment ??

is JUJU can deploy HAProxy server ?

is juju free for and number of nodes ?

also all juju bundle are free ?

for MAAS and JUJU if the MAAS or JUJU node become down is that effect all the environment ?? Interms of instances and services running on the openstack cloud its no. but we will lose the visibility to the administer cloud and etc if those goes down. is JUJU can deploy HAProxy server ? Yes.

Check out Fuel, too. https://www.fuel-infra.org/ .

Of course, if you want to have more control over the nuts and bolts of your installation, nothing beats a config management (e.g. Ansible, Salt, Chef...) with custom-written formulas. If you're looking for a less demanding alternative, also check openstack-ansible where these formulas are already written up and getting improved by the community: https://docs.openstack.org/openstack-...

Yes, it's open-source so you're free to deploy with Ansible to any number of servers. I think they also have paid plans with support, GUIs and whatnot like most other config management solutions. But my personal preference among config management tools has always been SaltStack, check it out.

RDO (https://www.rdoproject.org/install/) is good too. All depends on the underlying OS you wish to use.
