Hello,

Somebody have experience to install Zun (Container service) on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server? From the installation guide https://docs.openstack.org/zun/latest/install/controller-install-ubuntu.html#finalize-installation (https://docs.openstack.org/zun/latest...) the upstart script is based on "systemd". However Ubuntu 14.04 is not yet use "systemd" yet but "initd" for upstart right?.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hi,

It is possible to port the systemd to a upstart script that is supported by Ubuntu 14.04. However, keep in mind that the official installation guide is tested in Ubuntu 16.04 so it might or might not work for Ubuntu 14.04 or needs some twist to make it work. I will post the upstart script later if I can figure it out.
