Hello,

To setup something like Oracle RAC or Linux HA or Sun Cluster, we need storage that is shared between 2 VMs or compute instances. Is this possible in openstack environment and if yes, then how, pls share.

Many Thanks

Thanks

Now that it is 2 years since Queens was released, I hope that multi-attach is matured and is commonly used. Can anybody share their views or first hand info?

Regards

My first-hand info is that it works. Since Train, I believe, it's supported in Horizon as well.

You can prefer Manila service. It provides you a durable file share for your application which requires shared storage.

This feature is currently unsupported in Cinder:

Till date Nova doesn't allow multi-attach. It was in the specs for Mitaka
