Hello,

Is it possible to auto assign a mac address that comes from a database? The switches that we use needs a linked mac address with a specific ip.

And my second question: How can i get the dashboard installed on Windows server 2012 (hyper-v feature installed).

About the Mac address, that's handled by the Neutron Hyper-V agent. The Mac address gets assigned to the port in the Neutron configuration, so all you have to do is specifying the address when creating the port.

About the dashboard, here's how to install it via Powershell in Windows Server:

Add-WindowsFeature –name RSAT-Hyper-V-Tools

As an alternative, if you installed Nova compute on Hyper-V through the MSI installer, you can also access the console of a given instance with:

Get-VM instance-00000001 | Get-VMConsole
