Is openstack fuel project dead?

What on earth is the status of OpenStack fuel?, it looks like it has been abandoned altogether by Mirantis and the Fuel community project is on release 12 (if the download link works!) meanwhile there has been no release notes for Fuel since Mitaka

Is hard to find out basic information from the fuel community project

I don't know if the release names mean anything, MOS Fuel latest release was 9.2 and deployed Mitaka - Community Fuel is in release 12 and there is no knowing what version of OpenStack it deploys

There is no release date on launchpad for MOS 10 and it looks totally abandoned

I fully expect Mirantis to move on away from Fuel - does anybody know it's fate?

It’s not on the project list anymore: is a shell without content.

The last activity on the Git repo is almost a year ago:

I seem to remember seeing an obituary some time, but can’t find it.

EDIT: From

With the release of MCP, Mirantis is also announcing end-of-life for Mirantis OpenStack (MOS) and Fuel by September 2019. Mirantis will be working with all customers currently using MOS on a tailored transition plan from MOS to MCP.

Sad to see. That was a great project that served us well :-/ there doesn't seem to be obvious direct replacement.
