can we install openstack pike using hostnames instead of IP addresses

i have tried installing openstack pike with packstack using hostnames but network is not configured and i am not able to launch the instances and if i reboot the controller node i am not able to connect to openstack horizon but the services are running in the node can i get any document for the process using packstack

Rebooting Packstack doesn’t initialize all services. In my experience, for example, the external bridge is not initialized. There might be other details that are not set up automatically.

There should be no problem using hostnames if you have correct hostname resolution (DNS or /etc/hosts, for example).

i have tried restarting all the services and now all the services are running but when I launch VM's on openstack i am not getting internal ip for the VM-------> port_unbound(): net_uuid None not managed by VLAN manager ----->i am getting above error in openvswitch-agent.log can you help me
