euca-create-tags is giving error as "tag should be of type string"

While creating euca200ls tag for an existing instance i am getting the error as "tag should be of type string"

command which i am passing is as follows :-

euca-create-tags --debug i-00000001 --tag nam=Test

edit retag flag offensive close merge delete


I've got a similar problem against a Havana OpenStack cloud:
