How to give fqdn address to VM that takes ip from dhcp on Openstack

Hi,

I created 2 VM that take ip from dhcp on openstack lab. Trying to give fqdn address to that VMs. Is there any way realize it.

You want DNS integration: https://docs.openstack.org/neutron/la....

Your choice is internal DNS integration, where the OpenStack cloud provides FQDN's that are only valid inside the cloud, or external DNS integration, which allows you to assign internet names to instances.

If you want the latter, also read the Designate documentation https://docs.openstack.org/designate.

Thank you for your quick response. I overcome the problem. My release was the Newton thats why used following document by the reference of yours https://docs.openstack.org/newton/networking-guide/config-dns-int.html#the-networking-service-internal-dns-resolution (link text)
