How do I know that all of my object storage nodes are working properly?

Hello, I have installed a 4 node openstack, 1 as the controller and proxy server, 1 as compute node, and the other 2 as object storage nodes (swift) which has been added later after installing a 2 node openstack , all are running on virtual boxes in Hyper-V. The openstack version is Newton. Here are some questions, first: How do I make sure that both storage nodes are working properly???? Second: Should I be able to see a sign of storage nodes in my dashboard?? Third: Is there any way that I can change the replication factor?!

I appreciate any help.

For monitoring the health of the cluster, see https://docs.openstack.org/swift/late....

There is no API to show storage nodes. Therefore, the dashboard doesn't show them either.

You define the replica count with the ring-builder utility. Recently, it has become possible to change the replica count while the Swift cluster is running. See https://docs.openstack.org/swift/late....

Thanks for responding...I'd seen the monitoring tools before, but not satisfying......anyway, the second URL was helpful, thanx.
