How to monitor general parameters of VM instances created on Openstack Cloud. General parameters like CPU, RAM, Swap, Disk Usage, Processes, Services, Mountpoints etc and an Alert mechanism for informing any issues. The script way is something which can address all this. Using nagios nrdp it says the passive checks can be configured for this but we are not finding a proper documentation on how to get it done. If someone share some information of how to get VM instances monitored and an alert mechanism it will be helpful.

Thank You!!!
