Hi There,

AAP limit as in IPv4 interface type is 10. If LBaaS were to be used and VIP's have to be placed then does the AAP limit of 10 hold true for accumulative interface type v4+v6+v4v6 as 10 or is it 10 per interface type?

This is a neutron quota and not an neutron-lbaas quota. I was not aware there is an AAP quota, I thought it was covered by the basic "ports" quota. My understanding is the quota is total accumulated "ports" and does not count the addresses on the port.

I would update the tags on this question and see if someone more familiar with the neutron quotas can confirm.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for reverting back. It seems there was an issue when a user was able to add 10K AAP entries. Please see here https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/1336207 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+b...).

This then lead to this https://review.openstack.org/#/c/107733/2/neutron/extensions/allowedaddresspairs.py (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/1077...) which thus resulted in the default value coming down to 10. For sure this can be played with and will check how it goes.

Thanks for reverting back though.

Regards, -Amit
