Hello,

I have followed the instruction from newton installation on ubuntu 16.04 and during stack creation on dashboard, I get the error below:

"Error: Unable to retrieve stack list."

Is there any solution about that?

Thanks, Costas

Are you able to list the stacks using command line ? If not, run the command with --debug option to see why the command is failing

Hello Teju,

Thanks for your feedback.

You can see below the output of openstack stack list

root@Controller:~# openstack stack list ERROR: SSL exception connecting to https://127.0.0.1:35357: ("bad handshake: Error([('SSL routines', 'SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO', 'unknown protocol')],)",)

It looks like Heat configures an https endpoint for Keystone. Find where https://127.0.0.1:35357 is configured (heat.conf, probably) and correct it to http://controller:35357.

Hi Bernd Bausch and thanks for your efforts.

The problem resolved!

The mistake was when I created the heat service ,I created more one service. So, I ran openstack service list to check the services and then openstack service delete <id> to delete the services that I don't need.

Thanks, Costas
