I am able to resize i.e., change the flavor of my instance using CLI tools. I want to resize using Shade. How is that possible ?

I don't think it is possible yet as the Shade code does not provide method to resize a server

The code in the below file has methods to create, delete, rebuild, etc. However, it does not have code to resize a server.

It may be implemented in the future or you can write your own method to resize a server.

All right. There is a method called resize(server, flavor, disk_config=None, **kwargs) in python-novaclient. How can I access that using Shade? I can see a method nova_client(self) in Shade source code

So, you have to add a method to resize in https://github.com/openstack-infra/sh...

Did it using :

nova_client = os_client_config.make_client('compute',cloud = 'cdot_cloud')

and then using python-novaclient APIs
