LBaaSv2 and Default Gateway

Hi,

We have a scenario where we have two routers on a common tenant network, connecting to two different floating-ip networks ("external" and "internal"). Additional routes on VMs would steer traffic towards the appropriate router.

However, we wish to add the concept of 'internal' and 'external' LBaaS load balancers which can either use the 'internal' or the 'external' router. In testing it would appear that the LBaaSv2 instance will only use the default gateway assigned to the common tenant network. Is it possible to change the default gateway used by a LBaaSv2 instance; I cannot see a way to influence this from the neutron lbaas-loadbalancer-* CLI.

Do you know if the LBaaSv2 instance supports the addition of X-Forwarded-For for HTTP/S listeners as it performs a source-ip address re-write?

Cheers, Matt

Octavia does support neutron "host-routes" if they are defined on the subnets. This might provide the functionality you are looking for with the multi-gateway subnets.

Octavia also supports "X-Forwarded-For" via the "insert-headers" capability: https://developer.openstack.org/api-r...
