Hi All, Using Disk image builder i have created qcow2 image and launched instance for trove. But i am not able to ssh the Ubuntu instance. Getting public key denied error. Please let me know how to link our own ssh-key and launch instance for trove service.

Refereed URL: (Openstack docs)

Thanks, Omprakash Zeabalane

If you built your own image, I'm not sure what the question is. I would assume that you would enable ssh daemon, create a user and install the public key in it, and use that to ssh into the instance.

Trove is a service that relies on communication with an agent running on the instance for setting up and configuring databases. It doesn't have any particular mechanism for logging on the instance via ssh.

To use Nova's keypair, your image must import the public key from the metadata service or the config drive. The de-facto standard for this is cloud-init. Perhaps you failed to add it to your image?
