Hello All,

I am staying to setup Devstack in a VM according to the instructions here; (

The ./ step fails after 15 minutes or so. It appears to be a problem with the keystone service;

+lib/keystone:start_keystone:556 echo 'Waiting for keystone to start...'

Waiting for keystone to start...

Here is my local.conf

I added the HOST_IP/SERVICE_HOST lines after googling the error. I have tried the loopback and private network address. Both are reachable from the host machine.

I seem to be able to start/restart the keystone service without any issue;

service devstack@keystone status
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl status  devstack@keystone.service
● devstack@keystone.service - Devstack devstack@keystone.service
   Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/devstack@keystone.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
   Active: active (running) since Sun 2017-08-13 13:09:00 UTC; 1h 44min ago
 Main PID: 19615 (uwsgi)
   Status: "uWSGI is ready"
   CGroup: /system.slice/system-devstack.slice/devstack@keystone.service

           ├─19616 /usr/bin/uwsgi --ini /etc/keystone/keystone-uwsgi-public.ini
           └─19617 /usr/bin/uwsgi --ini /etc/keystone/keystone-uwsgi-public.ini

I've attempted to install/remove & reinstall various packages as suggested by goodle. These include "python-pbr", "python2-pbr", "python-cinderclient", "python-urllib3". I am using a Vagrant/Ansible project to do this here; ... (more)
