how to resize cinder size

I have install packstack from http://openstack.redhat.com/Quickstart

i have 6 TB space on my servers

after instalation i canot create volume > 20GB

i have edit CONFIG_CINDER_VOLUMES_SIZE=3000G in the answer file and i have run again packstack --answer-file=packstack-answers-xxxxx.txt

but can not create volumes that exceed 20GB complex value

How to resize cinder ?

can someone help me? I searched all over the internet but I canot found information how to resise cinder

The way that packstack creates the cinder-volums is to create a file in the size that is specified in the answer file and loop it so it'll be visible as a physical volume (see Grizzly manual http://docs.openstack.org/grizzly/openstack-compute/install/apt/content/cinder-install.html ). You can use the PV's or create a file and loop it the same way as the manual show.

Personally, I recommend that you'll use the PV's and avoid the loop method, it's not a configuration that should be used for a long term use.
