I have a same question. I went through documentation but it isn't step by step for openSUSE. And not version specific as such. http://docs.openstack.org/havana/install-guide/install/zypper/content/basics-packages.html%3C/p%3E (http://docs.openstack.org/havana/install-guide/install/zypper/content/basics-packages.html)

It doesn't matter. I also installed openstack on opensuse13.2, following that doc..

You should replace 13.1 with 13.2 when you add repository.

Since you mention you're new to cloud concepts, I strongly advice you to read the OpenStack documentation and report here the problems you encounter if the documentation is incomplete or vague.

For openSUSE specific Cloud questions, there is also a mailing list. See http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-cloud/ (http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-cl...) .
