Hello!

I'm trying install cinder service using:

# apt install cinder-api cinder-scheduler

But when i'm trying to open the /etc/cinder/cinder.conf the archive is incomplete and all i receive is:

[DEFAULT]
rootwrap_config = /etc/cinder/rootwrap.conf
api_paste_confg = /etc/cinder/api-paste.ini
iscsi_helper = tgtadm
volume_name_template = volume-%s
volume_group = cinder-volumes
verbose = True
auth_strategy = keystone
state_path = /var/lib/cinder
lock_path = /var/lock/cinder
volumes_dir = /var/lib/cinder/volumes

I need the [database], [keystone_authtoken] and [oslo_concurrency].

Anyone?

Thanks!

WhatI would advice is you just re-check if your installation was proper or not. For ocata release the complete cinder.conf is present here https://docs.openstack.org/ocata/conf... Please find my config file in the answer section.

Yes, the file you commented there and this link solved the problem. The sections I can rely on by the same manual. As for trying to reinstall the cinder, I had tried 3 times and it did not work. Thank you!

Using https://docs.openstack.org/ocata/config-reference/block-storage/samples/cinder.conf.html (https://docs.openstack.org/ocata/conf...) solve the problem. All I needed to do was change the sections I needed according to the manual in https://docs.openstack.org/ocata/install-guide-ubuntu/cinder-controller-install.html (https://docs.openstack.org/ocata/inst...)
