Adding a compute host with packstack hangs
We are using Packstack Ocata on CentOS 7 machines and are able to stand up an all in one node connected to an existing network just fine using https://www.rdoproject.org/networking/neutron-with-existing-external-network/ (these instructions). However, when I use the instructions on referenced on https://www.rdoproject.org/install/adding-a-compute-node/ (Adding a compute node) the install process hangs on Testing if the compute.pp puppet module has completed. I can't seem to find any thing in the logs that would point to why its hanging. Each machine is a clean install of CentOS minimal and each with two active NICs with IP addresses on the same subnet. Is there anything special I need to do on the compute host like build bridges before the install? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, Have you verify is it some firewall issue or SELINUX issue ?What is the status of NetworkManager Service ?? Are you still facing that issue ? What is the work around you tried ? --Regards
