how ceilometer send notification to heat in autoscaling feature? Can I get this notification from ceilometer?

Hello, I want to know if there is a way to be notified by ceilometer when alarm state change in autoscaling. Thanks

Aodh (and previously Ceilometer) doesn't know if it is calling Heat or not. It does an HTTP POST to whatever URL you specify as the alarm action. That's often the signal URL of the Heat scaling policy, but it doesn't have to be. And you can specify multiple actions, so you can notify Heat _and_ something else.

No, you can only POST to a URL.

Could you more explain to me how to do it, what's the form of the url to use and should I put the servlet in the machine that contain openstack? How to call it?
