Hi!

I installed the openstack liberty version, and os is Ubuntu 14.0.4.
It does everything well except for one thing. The problem is 'volume attachment'.
After the volume is created, it is not attached to the instance.
What should I do?

this is volume list.

root@woojin-virtual-machine:/home/woojin# cinder list
+--------------------------------------+-----------+------------------+------------+------+-------------+----------+-------------+-------------+
| ID | Status | Migration Status | Name | Size | Volume Type | Bootable | Multiattach | Attached to |
+--------------------------------------+-----------+------------------+------------+------+-------------+----------+-------------+-------------+
| a9f1fca8-58b7-4cbf-a5db-e74045fb6b76 | available | - | vdlp-agent | 5 | - | false | False | |
+--------------------------------------+-----------+------------------+------------+------+-------------+----------+-------------+-------------+

Here is a list of instances:

root@woojin-virtual-machine:/home/woojin# nova list
+--------------------------------------+------------+---------+------------+-------------+------------------------------------+
| ID | Name | Status | Task State | Power State | Networks |
+--------------------------------------+------------+---------+------------+-------------+------------------------------------+
| 0aa2e545-b798-4462-b383-884f63941595 | vDLP-Agent | SHUTOFF | - | Shutdown | Internal=10.22.0.11, 192.168.0.104 |

+--------------------------------------+------------+---------+------------+-------------+------------------------------------+

I used "nova volume-attach" command to attach the volume(vdlp-agent) to the instance (vdlp-agent).
But,

root@woojin-virtual-machine:/home/woojin# nova volume-attach 0aa2e545-b798-4462-b383-884f63941595 a9f1fca8-58b7-4cbf-a5db-e74045fb6b76 auto

I also wanted to leave an error log in / var / log /, but no error log exists. What more should I check?

I'd grep for the request ID in all /var/log/nova and /var/log/cinder log files. If they don't exist, I wonder how you installed Liberty? Did you use DevStack? If so, logs are at /opt/stack/logs.

The error message hints at a misconfigured [keystone_authtoken] section, in cinder.conf or nova.conf.
